Roany's Tomcat is by High Rolling Roany, an outstanding horse owned by Bub Nunn. Roany's Tomcat is a team roping horse (both ends) and a pickup horse. He has a lot of speed and a lot of cow and is gentle for anyone to ride. His bloodlines include Joe Hancock, Driftwood, King, Three Bars, Joe Reed II, Vandy, Chicaro, Two Eyed Jack, Star Duster and Leo. Roany's Tomcat's mares are located at the Mike Pierson Quarter Horse Ranch north of Miles City, Montana. The mares and colts run outside in ideal conditions, at the edge of the Missouri Breaks with plenty of grass and shelter. Roany's Tomcat is with the mares during breeding season and then brought back to the Taylor pastures near Billings, Montana.

was purchased from Bob Shelhamer in September, 1999, when Bob decided to sell his horses. Petes Oswald (Junior) was owned by Bob Shelhamer. Awesome Pete is eight years old now and has been used extensively for ranch work. He has lots of speed and cow as do all the Shelhamer horses. His lines include Peter McCue (many times), Midnight, Three Bars, Leo, Brushmount, Quick M Silver, Billy Clegg, Tommy Waggoner, Old Joe Bailey, Joe Hancock, Redman and Nick (Shoemaker). Awesome Pete and his mares run on the John Moore Ranch north of Miles City, Montana, year around, on Sunday Creek. Oswald, grandsire and a great grandsire, won the Oklahoma Futurity in 1947 and set a record and was one of the top quarter running horse of his time.

Lynne Taylor on Awesome Pete. Lynne has worked with horses all his life. Was born under the Red Wall near Kaycee, Wyo. Moved to Miles City, MT, and broke horses for the Kramer Horse Outfit, rode saddle broncs, picks up bucking horses, ran the Pryor Mountain Horse Range in Wyo., team ropes (heads and heels), raises and trains his own horses.
